I had a dual boot with win 10 and Ubuntu however I deleted the Ubuntu partition on Windows 10 last night and now when I turn my pc on it goes into grub rescue. How do I fix this, I don't want Ubuntu installed anymore. Any way to fix this without installing Ubuntu again?

GIYF, mate.
As far as I know, you just need a windows rescue disc.

The most important lessons we learn in life are from our mistakes.
The Apple Macbook Pro with Retina Display doesn't have this problem.

Boot into an Ubuntu USB flashdrive and update your GRUB configuration to boot into the windows partition by default. You can google for tutorials on how to do it while you're in the USB-livecd.

You need to use the windows bootloader, previously you used GRUB but it's been deleted. Make a windows recovery USB and google 'how to restore windows bootloader'
Congratulations.
If you have copy on USB/DVD just fix boot from there ffs. Sage.
