Does anyone know the IP for paypal so I can just bypass DNS? Is that possible?

64.4.250.24

Why it's asking for a login and password?

% dig paypal.com

you can also place it in your HOSTS file so you can keep using "paypal.com"
>>57176955
1. Press Windows Key + R
2. Type 'cmd'. Hit enter.
3. Type 'nslookup paypal.com'. Hit enter.

man youre going to hate me for saying this, but if i use chrome, where would i locate this file and should i just paste that whole thing in there?
>>57177021
also when i go directly to 64.4.250.23 it just errors out still
>>57177147
nothing to do with your web browser
and no, what you'd put in there is this;64.4.250.24 paypal.com
i'm going to assume you're using windows, the hosts file is at%systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
it's a text file, use notepad or whatever
you will also need to restart the "DNS Client" service after editing for it to take effect
>>57177169
likely because it expects you to use the "paypal.com" name, you'll need to edit your HOSTS file
>>57177178
i just realized that if i tried to use an atm it probably wont work either so it wont matter if i can log in
>>57176987
thanks senpai. This DNS attack has been a pain in the ass
So are we just waiting for dyn.com to come back up then?
>>57177290
How can i connect to 64.4.250.24 on mobile?
>>57177387
not sure how it would work, but on OSX I just click the address like a link and add the SSL exception.
>>57177412
Yea i did that. Added the exception but still tried to load paypal.com and errored out. This dns attack is ruining my fucking day. How much longer do you think it will go on?
>>57177480
the attack could last a week, but the DNS should be fixed within the day.
>>57177178
i just edited my hosts file, added
64.4.250.24 paypal.com
but when i try to go to 64.4.250.24 i get same error.
>>57177602
same when i try to go to paypal.com
wont load
