Building a new PC for gaming and streaming. I'm trying to save money by reusing parts out of my old build.
Pic related is the new stuff.
Here's the old stuff that I want to reuse:

Is it safe to be reusing all of this? I'm kinda worried about still using that two-year-old PSU even though it works fine in my current system.

Reusing the PSU and case is 100% fine, reusing the SSD is fine but do a fresh install and buy yourself an NH-D14/15 and enjoy living the good life.

Drop to an i5 and buy a better graphics card. Dont be afraid to go AMD either : the socket type basically never changes so later upgrades wont cost you another motherboard and if you have anything remotely above stock cooler then you wont have any problems with it.
I built a gayming computer for my little brother for under 1500 and I paired the most overpriced nvidia gpu with an 8350. If I had actually bought a case that could fit the liquid cooler I would have overclocked that bitch to 5.2 but right now during gameplay the CPU is the one with the lowest load , hes never going to need an overclock. Everyone screaming gpu blottlenecks truly has never even tried it. Seriously if you can pair a 1080 with an i3 you can pair those with anything. A 1080 with a 8350 is faster than a 980ti with a i7 , which is my current rig.
All Im saying here is you're spending alot more money than you should on the CPU if you truly want a pc for mostly gaming , drop a couple CPU tiers and get a better GPU

No , 16 gb of 2400mhz ram is plenty , unless you want to do particle simulations you dont need the extra speed.

I'm only playing at 1080p, 60FPS. A 1060 is fine for that. It benchmarks GTA V at 80FPS under that situation.

What do you mean by reactivate? Type the activation key in again during a fresh install and done?
