Same for me with every Nintendo hardware release. I bought the WiiU day 1 and have never regretted it because I've played it non stop and made many fun memories. People seem to hate having fun these days. If games don't involve killing people then they're not interested.

Antenna Pod and my e-reader make me happy. Mostly because of the content though.

I bought the wii just to play wii sports with my family. Literally have not bought any other games, but it's been great fun and I still occasionally boot it up to play with my sister.

Nintendo is great for family games. Still have my n64 with mario party penny racers, Mario kart, goldeneye, etc.

I would suggest you get a used wiiu and a bunch of used games for cheap because the WiiU is way better than the Wii. When I'm not playing games on it, I use it to watch Netflix and youtube on my main TV.

I would, but we don't play much anymore so I can't really justify it. Now it's just me playing bf4 or gta v, or some steam games with some old uni mates when I get home from work for a couple of hours before bed while she watches keeping up with the kardashians or some other stupid show on her laptop.
