What's the fastest way to delete duplicate files? I got a fuck load all over my hdd and ssd
>>57141135
sudo rm -rf /
>>57141163
That will definitely get rid of the duplicate files OP. There must be a --no-confirm flag to make this even faster, musn't there?
>>57141135
Gary utilities has that option.

1. md5 every file in your computer
2. save it in a txt file
3. compare every hash to every file (rehash them)
4. if hash are equal, delet
5. ????
6. enjoy
for i in *; do md5sum $i; done | sort | uniq -d -w 32
This should print out only duplicate files in a folder, pick and choose which one you want to delete.
>>57141135
Use Dupfinder or AllDup

I'm assuming you use windows
Here's a really bad, undocumented script i made some time ago:
Pastebin/4tA4d3N3
>>57141135 (OP)
I always use dupeGuru
>>57141198
nah, better to check as you go along
for every file on your system,
check the file's hash against all hashes in the array, and delete the file if there's a match
else, add its hash to the array
I'd probably limit it to specific folders, though. Running it on say, C:\Windows, might not be the smartest.
>>57141192
smash the hhd and start all over again cuz you fucked up
>>57141135
rmlint -T df
Fast, secure (paranoid flag), does nothing on its own, foss.
