/g/, I've been getting copyright notices from my ISP recently and am looking for ways to continue torrenting without getting threatening emails regularly from big brother. Can anyone recommend me a good VPN with no logs or anything that is fast, cheap, and allows bittorrent traffic? I mean basically the same kinds of stuff anyone who uses a VPN is interested in.
I want something that's cheap but I really don't mind paying a few extra bucks for speed. Any recommendations?

PIA, NordVPN, AirVPN, SecureVPN, etc.

Think I'm just gonna go with PIA, thanks
Cryptstorm.is and ovpn.se are both very good options. Check them out.

PIA is an US based company. Don't do it
>>57132087
Why not, I've been using it for years and nothing.
Which client to use? I was just reading about deluge supposedly having a socks5 ip leak issue and I don't want to use a 8 year old version of utorrent.
What do?
>>57131900
if you can handle live with the ping, get something based in another country.
Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland maybe
>>57132087
I'm going to be using it for torrenting. A log-less VPN that anonymizes my traffic is all I need, I'm worried about copyright owners not the FBI.
I'm not really sure why you think it would make a difference anyway

rTorrent, qBitTorrent, Transmission.
Don't fall for any meme, all are good, just use the one you prefer.
>>57132087
Unless you're looking at CP or doing terroristic shit it doesnt matter. If you're doing that shit and you pay for a VPN you're an idiot anyways. I've downloaded 10TB just in torrents this year using PIA and they gave zero fucks.
>>57132193
Cool thanks anon.
>>57132127
Transmission really is the best. It runs on Linux and Mac OS X
On Windows, I would recommend not using Windows. If you're going to do it though, qBittorent is probably the least bad, seconded by Deluge. Do not use uTorrent
>>57132297
REMINDER: Transmission has been infected with malware TWICE on OSX
>>57132127
source to alleged socks5 leak on deluge?
>>57132297
Thanks to you too. I'm probably going to go with qbittorrent.
>>57131900
Can really recommend AirVPN, been using it for a while now and it's great.
>>57132334
Open Ticket. I've seen people complaining about the issue multiple places online on various message boards as well.

Anyone here use VikingVPN? I was looking through the veracrypt audit thread and noticied that one of the main people hosts VikingVPN.
>>57132732
Looks like VikingVPN a good one.

AirVPN + set torrent client to only use VPN's adapter

>$120 for a year subscription
What a joke. You're getting ripped off.
>>57131900
Just use Usenet to download your media. Find a Usenet provider that doesn't keep logs of what you download. Usenet > torrenting
>>57133034
>spending more money for a service that limits you to their network
>spending more money for a service that doesnt have as much content as torrents offer
el oh el
>use magnet links
>use encryption
>randomize ports at every start
Yes it does work.
This same thead again.
>Shill opens a false thread asking for VPN advice
>Other PIA shills recommended and unconditionally defend PIA, a US-based service
Every fucking time. Just fuck off, shills
I use NordVPN. I usually torrent while in Luxembourg because their speeds are pretty impressive. Can I just use a server in the United States for optimal speeds or while my ISP be able to backtrack that?
>>57133317
So do all the other VPNs sperg. Again, PIA is popular for a reason. Now calm down as you realize there is nothing you can do about it.
PRIVATE
TRACKERS

> PIA is popular for a reason
Because shill and those juicy referral commissions.
>>57133317
Fuck! I just got PIA too from a friend's recommendation. Did I fuck up?
Also what's a good site to find computer tutorials on? Like Lynda videos?
Why would anyone get a VPN service based on US or UK.
There is record of bad outcomes for users that assumed to be secure. Just search for it a bit.
>>57133436
Or because its $40 a year for unlimited bandwidth and allows torrenting.
>>57133514
Really, because I've been torrenting a shit ton for the last 4 years without any problems. Guess I'm just lucky, right?
>>57133514
>There is record of bad outcomes for users that assumed to be secure.
