Hello /g/,
What Linux distro should I put on pic related?
Planning to use it for browsing the web, coding etc.
>inb4 install gentoo
Thanks.
Is that possible besides live ISO?
I mean can you actually install and boot and save on USB?

Puppy is literally built to be ran from flash media. Instant Linux. This is its purpose.
Kali Linux

Yes. This is GNU/Linux, not Windows. It doesn't need 50 GB free space to be installed.

If you want to order drugs without (((government))) knowing about it
>puppy
If you want a general tiny and fast OS
But you can install any generic distribution as most of them can be installed on a flash drive. You're only going to browse the web and code so you can literally use anything.
Everytime someone says "install gentoo" I gain a growing desire to install gentoo

install templeos

try debian, fresh install with gnome 3 takes ~8GB and you dont have to update every week.
cons:
>install is long
>install is really long
>given you will install on a usb 3.0 stick with 2.0 speeds install is gonna take much longer
>desu i dont know if you can install it 100% on a usb stick normally
But it seems a good system for limited storage.
Friend bought a cheap Chinese netbook running win 10 pretty good.
Tried to boot puppy then found the fucking bios has no legacy boot, only uefi.
I swear these fucking pc are going the locked android verizon knox bushit way
