You guys ever use Bluetooth speakers? What's the best one under or around $150?

if you're going to ask for "cheap things" you're better of with a wired speaker

150 is cheap?

Indeed.
Gonna shill for the large amazonbasics speaker. Best bang for your buck possible at $60. Avoid if you want a strong bass though.
Honestly the Anker speaker you posted is a REALLY good, cheap bluetooth speaker. I have one.
Used it on camping trips, doing yardwork, out in the garage working on bike or car, etc. Sounds good enough for anything that isn't bass-heavy and has good-enough battery life.
Honestly I wouldn't say you should be hard-set at 'around $150', either. Think about what role you want the speaker to fill and look at options that'd fit that category. There may be something substantially cheaper than your original request.

JBL Charge 3
Soundlink Color 2 is pretty good.
Not OP but would you all recommend the Anker SoundCore? It's only 35.99 on amazon and I only need a speaker for camping with a couple other people. I don't care about the bass really, but I wonder if theres a better speaker in this price range (around $50)

My thing is what the fuck is the difference in quality to the sound core and ops pic if they're a few bucks apart

The Harman Onyx Studio 3 was very nice when I auditioned it. I've heard better and it pales in comparison to stereo loudspeakers but for that price it's good. The newest version won Red Dot award is that matters any.
$3 from the thrift store.
Though I mostly use it to listen to podcasts on my Sansa Clip plugged into the external input.
