If they weren't freakishly expensive and out of production I'd really like to use them, even if just for the novelty. They really appeal to me.

You don't actually need that shit, the problem is not in the keyboard but in what you use it for. People were pulling mad stunts as early as the 70's with key combinations on a regular keyboard because they wanted to get shit done quickly.
These days, it's only gotten better since the art has been refined over a generation and computers are fast enough to take your keystrokes as fast as you can dish them out.
Want novelty? Pick up emacs or vi, get to know the keyboard commands that have been around for decades and experience power like never before. Get a compatible browser extension (firemacs or vimfx) and do the same for your shitposting.
