When will they release this shit. I never pre-order things. All I want is a portable micro PC with video out and USB ports running Linux or even Windows.
>>57081435
They are going to wait until enough people pre-order so they can make a profit on suckers who bought vaporware.
>>57081456
I ain't pre-ordering shit. I know how these scams work. I'm 30 years old. Give me a ready product or fuck off.
>>57081435
I thought these have been out for ages or is this a different model?
>>57081531
New model with much better specs. Previous was OpenPandora. The new one can have up to 4 GB of ram. USB 3.0 an 3/4G modem.
>>57081435
it's called a fucking laptop dude, do you not realise?
you can get like 10" laptops
>>57081617
>you can get like 10" laptops
Too large. I need something to replace my google botnet smartphone in my pocket.
>>57081617
Also, show me a 10 inch laptop that isn't shit. Intel Atoms are a joke and I need 8+ hour battery life.
I wonder if you could mod an OLED screen onto that
>>57081764
Why not? It should accept anything that is supported by Linux kernel and fit the case.

>no physical keyboard
>ultra shitty keyboard
Come on man, I need to code on the go.
>>57081798
monoprice iphone 5 bluetooth keyboard
>>57081807
That's gay. I need something with real hinges so I can use the device in a car.
>>57081784
why xp and not WES7?
>>57081823
Jesus christ fucking suck it up and buy a laptop then
>>57081823
It's a slider, m8. Sounds like you want a laptop or a netbook/chromebook.
>>57081836
One on the left (GOLE1) is Windows 10 and Android. I've not tried to install anything else, but I don't think it supports stuff that isn't UEFI compatible.
And the one on the right (UX180p) is running Windows 7. I had XP but after I installed the SSD, Windows 7 ran well enough and it was easier to get more shit working.
>>57081613
So the entire gimmick of this is simply for emulation, and the old one seemed to emulate everything you could want up till ps1, can the new one run ps2 or something?
I just don't see the appeal of such a thing unless they can squeeze more battery life out of it.
>>57081880
New one can run Dreamcast. The Gimmick is that you have a full Linux laptop in your pocket. The problem with other devices is that they have shitty specs or run Android.
>>57081784
>With a rechargeable 2600mAh lithium-ion battery which needs about 2 to 3 hours charging time and offers 2 hours of continuous playback, 4 hours standby time
Pyra and Pandora give you 10+ hours.
I also can't charge that GOLE from MicroUSB power bank.
>>57081925
Not for me then, can't think of a single time I've gone 'Damn wish I had a full Linux laptop on me', when I haven't had access to an actual computer.
>>57081946
I dunno why they undersold the battery so hard. I get minimum 4 hours from mine and it charges from micro usb just fine (ON THE NEW BIOS, the old one has issues charging in windows)
Get a GPD win when it comes out faggot
>>57081435
Skull Canyon Nuc. Google it.
How much are these things going to cost?
>>57081435
Not to be the devil's advocate in this thread but that thing is like an electronic fedora.
People will be able to tell you have autism from as long as their eye can see that thing.
>>57081981
>when it comes out
So never?
>>57082234
>1.6GHz Atom Z530 CPU, 1GB of RAM

>>57082870
Talking about the "2010" one cunt>>57082857
They've already started shipping to backers on Indyblowblow
>>57082270
