Can this meme just die already? Single core performance, which is what most programs use, have only improved like 70% in almost a decade.
Either Intel needs to somehow engineer an on-die ASIC that magically splits and joins single threaded work over multiple cores, or they need to fucking stop at 4 cores max for commercial use
