Somehow my micro SD card is damaged and now all my photos and music is gone. Is there any way I can recover those?

The phone asks you to reformat it?
Have you tried putting it into a desktop or laptop and running an unformat utility?

No.
lesson learned, google drive (home wifi) next time.
I'm sorry, I just have to take a minute here.
I have to take a minute to recall all the times you faggots laughed at me for using cloud storage instead of microSD cards. "There is no cloud, just other people's computers," you said, as though it was anything more than pedantry. Well, here's what happens when you rely on "your computer". Your mass-produced, commodity tech of unknown provenance. This is what happens when you trust your own skills, and get complacent, and fail to make the backups you should.
Meanwhile, I am at zero risk of losing anything. My cloud storage syncs to a small nettop that does a rolling backup of the cloud storage's contents. Literally unlosable.

yes, buy a new one and restore your backup onto it

What if mister robot wanted to wipe the whole cloud..
How would he do it?
Rly made me think.
