Xorg dpi setting at 100. Terminus font at 12 (truetype, xterm).

I have a curved 40" 4K display.

It's perfect because the curvature fixes the problem of the edges of the screen being too far away.

Only problem is the input lag (~40-50 ms), but I got used to it.

40"/43" UHD is a straight upgrade from triple 1920x1200 portrait for anybody doing coding or any sort of text work, where vertical space is valuable almost beyond price.

It's not even unaffordable if you're willing to do it ghetto style with an HDMI 2.0 TV setup, but hopefully we see some real DP 1.3/1.4 setups with 120 Hz input next year.

Room and furniture dimensions are more of a factor.
A bigger person in a small room will have more problems with displays than a small person in a big room.

I'm wondering now though, if anyone is using one of those curved displays vertically, so they can set it a little lower, at an angle. Could be comfy.

I have a 50" 4k monitor, best thing ever. I just put windows wherever I feel like it, my workflow became so much better. Probably curved would be even better but then it would be a shit TV. Since its IPS and HDR it doesnt really matter, just best of everything, wider than ultra wide, crazy ppi still, way sharper than full hd at same distance, very slightly slower than a gaming monitor.

Frostbite 2 games look like real life srs.

Panasonics and Samsungs have 20ms and under, you wont notice it too much unless youre used to 144hz, but still just an excuse to why you suck at games. Gtg values are under 5ms.
