Why isn't this software more used? I've always used, for what i needed, Speccy but I needed something that also shown me % utilization of the components, i found this.
But I never seen it used here. Why? Or is it me that I'm an idiot and missed something on Speccy?

i use it when overclocking or just checking temps/utilization on my hardware.
works pretty great
I use on windows but I'm usually on Linux so acpi -V is fine

This. Speccy is for normies showing off "muh rig"
hwm thread?
>>57063955
Cuz it doesn't do the same thing? The only thing that is kind of analogous to Speccy is HWiNFO64. Which, by the way, also has the functionality of HWMonitor and more built into it.
>>57063955
while it is a good temperature monitoring system (that actually gets correct AMD temps unlike the shitty Speccy program), you can't hide certain columns in the program so everytime you open it, you have to manually hide the sections you don't want. It gets tedious after a while tbhq

B-but I use it all the time f-fampai

Looking at your screenshot made me realize how old my version was.
>>57063955
It's great for checking temps, speccy is for showing off.
>>57067588
Why is your cpu constantly operating on max frequency?
>>57063955
As stated earlier in the thread. Speccy is for showing off, HWMonitor is for keeping an eye on your hard ware.
I mostly use HWM when I want to see (sort of) how much resources a application uses.
>>57063955
Because HWinfo is superior
>>57067588
I'm not sure if these voltages are correct...
>>57063955
I use it, have it pinned on my taskbar even (:
It is widely used, to monitor temperatures.
It's just not interesting to show.
OP Here,
wow this thread is still alive.
Yes I do think that is still incomplete tho. Speccy gives the specs, this is exactly just a monitor.
Like this anon said here >>57067669, i was looking for something more complete.
To be fair and square, the best program in this category I still think that is Aida64 but it's not free.
Will Try HWInfo tho.
Soooo.... OP Again.
Tried HWiNFO... nice, so I have both of Speccy and HW monitor all in a "too much info", very confusing interface....
