What the fuck is this shit, you cant even choose to only install security updates anymore. Now you are forced to either install all the updates or nothing because they bundled it together.
The quality update includes the "Important" and "recommended" Updates too.

It's bittersweet.
>not running windows seven for ten more years until they stop support
Enjoy your bot net
Tbh I loathe the day when I have to switch to Linux full time

Does anyone know how to delete certain updates from the downloaded list with WSUS Offline? I looked into since this whole fiasco just in case I ever want to do a fresh install of Win7/8.1 on any other devices, such as my thinkpad, and it was my understanding that you could pick the updates you wanted, not install them all (just offline instead). Could I just delete the offending updates from the directory it downloads them to, and then run the installer without problems?

He IS running Windows 7 you stupid ignorant fucknigger. They backported this shit to 7 and 8.
>>57051393
Same. My last ever Windows7 image was created a day before this bullshit.
Use the Simplix update pack for W7.
>>57051784
>Simplix update pack for W7
>just install this fucking botnet
Microsoft did that because they fucked up the updater on windows 7 and didn't feel like hiring competent devs to fix it.
>he still uses windows 7
>>57051797
What is a Windows? A miserable little pile of botnets.
>>57052258
Just works.
>>57052305
Good point anon.
So did anyone make a final backup from all the single package updates before this shit? Last I updated anything was a year ago or so.
>>57052305
Sotn, love that game
>>57051640
>/g/ knowing anything
>>57052368
i didn't
someone should upload an iso with all the security updates up to this one.
Somebody make an update unbundler. Extract the pieces from these updates so we can install them selectively.
>>57049940
For the security-only updates, you have to visit the KB article, which links to the MS bulletin, which links to the security-only update download page.
>>57053473
Yeah I saw that.
So what's the correct way now?
Win7sp1>servicing stack update>convenience rollup>october security rollup
Or
Win7sp1>october security rollup
