Android flagships aren't cheaper than an iphone. If you don't own a flagship you are scum.

Googles only hurdle to total mobile domination is the iPhone. There already android phones for everyone who doesnt want an iPhone, they come in all prices and shapes.

To take on the iPhone, Google made an iPhone, its this simple. It offers the same form factor, similar software features, the things people love about apple (except for logo and status). Its the best blow Google can deal to apple, as it already owns all other parts of the market.
