In your opinion what is the maximum number of packages on a distro to not be considered as bloated?
300
it's bloated when you have packages that you don't use. if you use everything then your system is not bloated
it's as simple as that
less than 100 tbqh onii-chan
>>57047896
it's not about how many packages you have, but how bloated the fucking packages and dependencies are.
>>57047896
Bloat is purely subjective.
>>57047949

The distro can have a zillion packages and not be bloated. Bloat only counts for what you have installed, not what's available.
>>57048470
wow
>= 2
the whole distro should be a single package. no more bloat.

Will you stop doing this. You are a mega autist.

This, but on some laptops you might have a reason to fear bloat. Still don't get people that call emacs bloated when it's much less than 1 GB

about 3
It's not exactly the amount of packages that matters, it's the amount of packages you don't use as well as how you compiled those packages.
For example, if you wanted to compile LibreOffice without XML support, you could. But if you use LibreOffice and have no plans to ever use XML, then you still have some bloatware.
