For the university peeps in here.
How does /g/ turn in their homework? I wanna see some sexy setups.
This is a Jupyter notebook running SageMath. The text is Markdown+LaTeX. Just started this today, it seems really nice. Not having to plot to files and link them all from LaTeX with graphicx is kinda nice.
Oh, don't forget to mention what you're studying. I'm a Physics undergrad, this is some basic math stuff one of my classes is going over.

That's a totally respectable choice, but how do you cope with not being able to edit anything you write or embed computer plots?

Taylor series is bae

never used gnuplot, I heard 'gnu*' and immediately assumed it was going to be ugly. Pleasantly surprised.

it's nice but pretty unpopular

Latex for some math and sweet looking graphs. Works great with mendeley for easy reference management. Personally, I use sharelatex.com
Its like google docs, but for latex.

Why are all the number crunchers so shit at actual writing. At least the LaTeX is sexy.
