Why does it even matter? It has the advertised screen size. Having a little extra space around the screen makes it less likely to shatter if you bump the side of the laptop against something.

This is what you get when you demand that they remove the top and side bezels. They have to put the webcam someplace, and then the backlight and start of the light spreader for the screen go above that.
Having the screen a little higher is a bit more ergonomic actually. Gives you a little less of the dilemma of either cramping your wrists typing on a raised laptop or hunching over to see the screen.
Webcam position is ass though. The person chatting with you will see you from lap height. Perfect for showing them your dick though I guess.
