Why the fuck is it that I install the NVidia drivers from the website and after I turn on my computer again, they are not working and I need to install them again. Fuck this nigger shit, Windows 7 works perfectly compared to this shit. How do you put up with this crap? Linux will never be ready for the desktop at this rate. The only reason you would need to install them again is if you updated with a package manager, and a newer version of the nvidia driver that they had in the repo had been updated. Why is it that newbs install Arch as their first distro then complain when they don't understand what is going on?

About every distro says you shouldn't run the installer scripts from your manufacturer. Any distro has it's own way of dealing with driver installation. Use Google instead of vomiting your incompetence on /g/
