This fucking beauty
>>57038161
You misspelled greatest mouse in the world.
>>57038147
>>57038147
MX510 was better.
I'm still using one as we speak.
>>57038147
mine died after a few years.
>>57038225
Eh. I had lots of memories on that mouse. I bought a G503, the only reason why I still use it is because I spent $90 on it. Still ok but no where near as good as the G400.
My old syncmaster 3n from 1994, still work and that thing is in use since i bought it, like 3 CRTs, a LCD and a LED display died during that time and this thing just refuse to go. It's fun as now the wall that it points toward is greyish with my silhouette from the radiation kek.
>>57038219
This senpai
>>57038147
Yep. Bought one from a friend who had it for almost a year. I used it for 5 years, during the time it was dropped, smashed, spilled on, left in the rain etc. It worked perfectly until my dog ate the cable.
>>57038147
Original IBM PC 5150.
Gameboy.
I still have both, and both still work as well as ever.
>>57038147
Pentium 4. Still plays TF2 like a charm.
>>57039625
and my Zotac 8400 GS.
Right now I am also using a thermaltake TR2 600W in my current rig after my corsair supply went caput. I am surprised that it can handle a 1080 and a i5 6600k. I was told Thermaltake's stuff was shit-tier. Maybe I just got lucky since it has been used for more than 5 years.
>>57038147
my model m of course

>ITT: The most reliable and long lasting piece of technology you've used to date. I'll start
MBP from 2008. still running strong. still use it every day. still have no issues of any kind. I did add an SSD few years back to speed it up but old HDD is still around somewhere.

>using an external keyboard with a laptop, without using an external display
>>57038225
Same here!
>>57038147
>>57038147
Yes. It's been 11 years already.
>>57039696
to be fair that is all you can see in the photo
>>57038251
Pics or didn't happen.
>>57038219
Still rocking this CPU
Buying that when the core i7 and x58 dropped was the smartest decision of my tech life...
(other than building my own hifi from the component level up)
>>57039660
my unicomp is coming soon. I would've gotten the model m, but I really like the command keys.
My Razer Deathadder: dragon age 2 addition;
I've had it since 2011 and it has never gone wrong at all.
Still in perfect working order and still outperforms most mice on ergonomic comfort.
My Gigabyte Gtx 285
Bought the thing in 2009 and using it ever since, everyday it gets up to 90 degrees and stays there like a champ.
Intel Pentium D E5300 from 2007
Finally being replaced with a proper PC, perfect timing too since I think the north bridge on the mobo is dying
>>57038147
I have this one.
>>57040191
I remember when those were the standard
/g/400
moto /g/
>>57040191
>Mouse that breaks because they didnt fasten down the cable properly
Me and my friend also had these break just over time they last about 4 years of heavy use before the scroll wheel breaks and the buttons stop being responsive
>>57040032
not him but I just remapped Caps Lock to be Alt, and Alt to be Command. Model M's Alt key is where the Command key is supposed to be, so it's comfy to press Cmd with the thumb.
>>57038147
hd panasaonic plasma from 2001, volt modded and carnauba waxed that bitch a few years ago and the blacks are super inky in moderate lighting
vga only tho

some say that you can make a korean delicacy with the dead skin crust
My penis
>>57040536
Why don't you clean that shit?
>>57040484
just replace the wire
>>57039660
>tfw my Model M was made in the same year that I was
Tbqh I'll probably break down and stop working long before my keyboard does
>>57038225
MX500 masterrace.
800 dpi is still good enough. Have had mine for almost 15 years. I bought a shitload of replacement feet off of ebay 6 years ago when they were still available. I have no issues with my mx500 whatsoever. But I did buy an mx518 and g400s and they both died in less than a year. I love the shape its perfect for my hand, logitech stopped making the mx500 and it's successors for dumb reasons. Why hasn't any other company copied logitech and made a modernized mx500? Mine is worn as fuck. But still fucking works better than my gf's razer deathadder.
>>57038147
6 years and counting
A Cross Century Classic pen I've had for 30+ years. Best fucking pen ever.
Next would be a Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical, about 10 solid years of use daily.
I have a Swiss Army Knife that I bought 20 years ago.

i7 920

>tfw some newfags were 9 years old when this came out
5 Years and counting
Gotta thank a /g/tard for recommending me these back in the day
Thank you wherever you are right now
Microsoft Trackball mouse, been using it for ~10 years now.

MX310!
>>57040191
Bought this as a /g/ recommendation in 2012 along with my corsair k70 keyboard.
I have some calculator from the 80's that still works. And a early 90's computer that runs King quest and tie fighter. It works still even after the basement was flooded and it was submerged.
Also my ps1 still works.
>>57038147
g400
I had for 4 years and then lost it somehow and now it's apparently over 100 dollars to replace. fml
>>57040948
except several companies DO have palm mice with a similar shape to the mx500/msie 3.0. It's probably THE most popular shape (and if you wanted that aggressive thumb indentation you'd just buy Logitech for it since that's the main difference you'd be paying for. Also it's not just about the DPI; the newer sensors have flawless tracking (and they're impossible to make malfunction when swiping fast), good liftoff distances, more durable and lighter left/right mouse click buttons, smoother mouse feet, etc. etc. Your mx500 is top dogeshit compared to the Logitech g502 proteus core which has the exact same shape (although it admittedly looks like a meme and has an autistic gaymer name).
TL;DR your old ass mice are vastly inferior to modern mouse technology
>>57040191
I remember the 2 sensor types debate. Had it, but the driver turned to shit. Tons of issues. No wonder, she was blonde anyway.
>>57038147
Still have mine and use it every day. I can't remember not having this mouse, it's been years
>>57038147
Same here, been 8 years in use, still gud
have had mine for over 11 years. had to open it up once at the 5 year point to clean some dust from the scrolling wheel, still works as new
>>57040948
Still have one of those. Best fucking mouse i've ever had.
>>57038147
had mx510 and mx518 both lasted 4 years max
left click button went to shit
g9 is much more reliable
>>57038147
Greatest mouse ever. I had one and the G400. I threw them in the trash when my pet chewed it because I never knew you can buy a new replacement cable for it on ebay.
>>57038147
This mouse and the G400 is expensive to buy again. I want it so badly again.
>>57040213
>buttons stop being responsive
You can easily repair that. Google it.
>>57041966
i wish they would make them again with modern sensors
macbook 2008, some Eizo and my first selfbuild PC anno 2006 i only changed the graphics card.
>>57040536
I was going to tell you to clean your mouse, but then I saw your fingers...
>>57038147
My dad's NAS. I've used it for various things even when it was a desktop since I was like 5(18 now)
>>57038147
I could take this mouse down to hell, kill the devil with it, and use it for the next 100 years and it wouldn't even buckle.
>>57038219
same
>Marshall Valvestate amp I bought in the mid 90s
>SNES my parents gave me on my 12th birtday

>Zanker washing machine from the fucking 70's
eMachines eView 17f3
CRT from 2005 and the biggest issue I have with it is a band of extremely slight discoloration going along from left to right at the top. I couldn't figure out why there would be a single strip of discoloration.
And then I realized exactly why.
>>57043997
I'd say this one exactly anon !
