You know RAID 0 provides very little actual performance advantage for SSDs besides pure read/write speed, which unless you have HUGE data sets or HUGE uncompressed RAW 4k footage or similar, you'll literally never even notice compared to a single SSD.

Your latency is the same, your IOPS are the same, etc. All you get is an increase in pure read/write, which is almost NEVER a bottleneck for a laptop ANYWAY.

All you are doing is making sure that the data on all four disks will be gone when one of them fails. Any file larger than your 128KB stripe is going to be split across drives.

A far smarter solution would be to span the filesystem across multiple disks.
