First boot up your windows USB drive, you'll download a Windows ISO using the media creation tool.
Burn the ISO to a usb
Delete all your partitions in the Windows installer
Install Windows
Install Ubuntu GNOME.

Gimp does not have ACR or any replacement. I doubt if PS would run good on VM cause I often work on big events an need to work on 600 photos at once, having Thinkpad X201

I've used Photoshop since version 6 15 years ago for time to time fuckery. And after they introduced single window mode in GIMP and fixed some dumb stuff, it actually became much more enjoyable.

Some Photoshop CS6 dialogs still look like in version 6, which is just funny considering the amount of work they put in and what they charge.

GIMP just werx. It has ugly glossy buttons, but it works.
