The problem with Android devices is no matter how much you spend, you're gonna end up with a device that's potato-tier in one way or another. It's the same problem that has plagued Windows PC manufacturers for ages: they can't make a product that doesn't have some kind of nasty drawback and they don't give two flying fucks about details.

This is true about Macs as well, you just don't feel it because Apple has convinced you that Macs are not computers, but are instead magical play boxes.

It's a funny self-reinforcing line of thinking you can see in any Macfag, and it's perfectly reasonable why. If you walk into a Bestbuy and you look at the PC section, and you're a fucking pleb who doesn't know anything about the computers you're looking at, you face a problem that's called the paradox of choice (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Paradox_of_Choice). When you invariably buy a laptop that has problems with it (as all products do), you imagine that the other laptops in that same price range wouldn't have had that problem (while forgetting that they probably would have other problems).

When people get sucked into Apple's marketing, and initially accept that their Mac laptop isn't the same as any other laptop, the number of laptops they can buy is essentially reduced to 1, because Apple makes sure that there's only one sensible option for anybody to buy (other than maybe screen size differences). These people become extremely happy with their purchase because they experience none of the anxiety, second-guessing or buyers remorse that they've experienced every time they bought a laptop that they knew nothing about... and that feeds back into the false idea that a Mac is not a PC.

Telling a Macfag that they're wrong is met with hostility, because this person has experienced a situation in which they didn't have any of the negative feelings they would have otherwise had if they didn't buy a Mac and, if they let you get to them and convince them that a Mac is just a computer, then those feelings would come back, and they can't have that. It doesn't matter that their Mac has problems - it was the only product they could have bought and so it was the right decision to make.

Android is the Windows of mobile phones. It is developed by curry niggers for literal niggers. It's really telling that flagship android devices have such high specs: they literally have to fall back on heavy duty hardware just to keep their Java-bloated POS up to speed with iOS.

It's true however that Android is less locked down. That way your manufacturer/carrier can load it with spyware and lock it themselves.
