Yeah because firecocks is so much better right?

These tests were done on a Skylake Xeon, 16GB of RAM and a PCI-Express SSD. e10s enabled and dom.ipc.processCount set to 50. Now tell me Firefox isn't slow:

Great! Now it'll use only 8 GB of memory instead of 16.

Anyone still committed to Mozilla tends to use FF forks, or SeaMonkey. I've been using Pale Moon for years. Indeed, the memory usage is drastically lower. My PM installation pushes 200 MB at most.

>Chrome doesn't have noscript or vertical/tree tabs
Doesn't even matter how fast it is if it's as unusable as IE.
>>
>>57011379

It's more of an environmental thing. No point in increasing your PC's voltage demands just so you can use bloated software. There are more optimized software choices out there that aren't going to soak up so much power.

uMatrix is available for Chrome. It's much better. It can block other resources as well but if you only want to use it as a script blocker that works too.

In this case it actually is. Chrome is such a fast browser specifically because it loads entire websites into RAM and in their own sandbox. This means having to load 50-100MB of javascript your shitty website has plus all the fucking ads as well.

All this stuff requires RAM and RAM isn't expensive anymore. You have to be african-tier poor to not be able to afford an 8GB stick of RAM

Yeah because all normies didn't download Chrome when they saw "download a faster browser" on Google's homepage.
