What are the differences between x86 and arm and which architecture is superior and why?
>>57007514
Google it lazy faggot
>>57007514
x86 is a complex instruction set, which means that it executes its code primarily with imaginary numbers. arm is a reduced instruction set, which means it is only capable of limited-precision operations. Since they operate on different principles, it is hard to compare them.
Hope this helps.

dumb niggerposter
arm has a smaller instruction set than x86. x86 cpu's can do more complex tasks with higher efficiency but arm are much smaller and power efficient.

No. Fuck off.

did you not learn about complex equations in math class?

He's memeing him so he gets his homework all wrong, but thanks to you it won't work now. You ruined it faggot. Learn to take a hint.
>>57007587
he's armenian
>>57007583
But isn't x86 risc too now?
>>57007514
>>57007583
I forgot to mention that for desktop use, x86 is clearly superior. Since arm is incapable of executing instructions with more precision than 8 bits, many business applications will lose accuracy over time due to truncation errors. That is why leading industry systems such as Windows and Mac OS X are not compatible with the arm architecture.

What about others like sparc or mips?
Also what other architectures are there that are interesting? I don't mind looking them up if it's too long to explain
>>57007701
>>57007701
sparc or mips obviously have different instruction sets but they are all defined by the fact that they are incapable of high-precision instructions. (otherwise they would not be classified as risc architecture). It's worth noting that some risc architectures may get around this problem by doing resolving high-precision operations in hardware as a series of low-precision operations. This obviously has the downside of significantly reduced performance.

Wow, a legitimate grammar Nazi.
I thought you faggots went extinct.

RISC-V is the superior architecture.

Did you sleep through Calculus or they dont make you take math classes in India for a Computer Science major?
>>57009378
dewelopers not need maths for making of programings
x86 has shitloads of operations which means it's harder to optimise, arm has fewer and so is easier to optimise.

I mean look at this shit
