It's hilarious that Spotify can't manage to convince most of its users to pay this. Who knew, no one wants to rent music.
>>
>>57007239
Allah, you can find tons of free streaming music, why pay for it?

Do those streaming sites still play Top 40 shit or Classic Rock you hear every day?

Spent all day in computer labs in school. Always using different machines. Didn't want to lug around an external hard drive with the rest of my bullshit. Spotify was the easiest way for me to have the music I want follow me from device to device. If you have a better option i would unsarcastically love to hear it.

You poor?

People have built tools to sync existing collections with Spotify. Unfortunately Apple Music has no API for this. Also unfortunate is the fact that Spotify is ugly as shit and basically impossible to use for library management.

RIP Rdio

Amazon Music sucks. I would know, I own an Echo, and I'm currently playing Apple Music through it instead of Amazon Music because Amazon's Prime streaming library is terrible.

I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/LInux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

i remember back in the 90's when streaming services started to surface, people just laughed:

why pay for something that you can pirate for free that's both of higher quality and available offline?

diskspace also stopped being an issue in the 90's since it became cheap (and it's even cheaper today) and since the development of the opus codec, you can store insane amounts of decent sound music on a single drive

streaming is a solution for the technically inept: old people: soccer moms, niggers & people who use apple products

>PC means wangblows
PC means "a general-purpose computer whose size, capabilities, and price make it feasible for individual use."

All Macs are PCs.
All Windows desktops, laptops, and tablets are PCs.
All Linux desktops, laptops, and tablets are PCs.
Even desktops and laptops running PC BSD are PCs.

Stop using a generic term to refer to a specific type of machine.

All I wanna know:
Were they google ads?
>spotify vs. google music
>>
I practically gave up on pirated music. It was a fucking hassle getting my music on different devices (PC, laptop, phone, tablet, workstation which is locked dlwn so no music apps except through the browser). Spotify's library is pretty decent and premium is cheap where I live ($4/month). Plus it allows me to stream normie music when friends get in my car. I'm not giving up to the video streaming jew through because my internet connection is much too slow to stream anything above 480p.
>>
>>57007908
>>not blocking Spotify add servers via hosts

Doesn't work anymore.

The cloud is always a good storage alternative because it's slow, expensive, unreliable, and insecure. That's obviously better than lugging around a massive sdcard in your cellphone, or usbstick on your keychain.
>>

I don't even use Spotify, but after a *GRAND* 5 seconds of googling I found that out. Also, Spotify encourages *sharing* of music for free, this is Communism. Do not support Spotify and there services, 'else you'll be a commie.
