>non-removavle batteries were good they said
>Removable batteries were crap they said
To thing this whole thing would have been nowhere as bad if Samsung had just stuck with removable batteries

samsungs last great phone was the s5 /s5note.
and even those had overheating issues because of snapdragon cpu.
after that their phones have been on a steady decline in in quality and building materials.

Well, considering that the new replacements have been exploding even after a battery replacement, there's a fair chance it has nothing to do with the batteries, and is actually some kind of wiring issue in the device itself.
So, yeah... so much for removable batteries saving the day.
How does it matter if a battery is user-replaceable when it goes up in flames?
It would have made the recall easier, yes, but the actual problem? No.

No customer ever thought non removable batteries was a good thing.
Its the same stupid as fuck marketing departments that are pushing thin phones.
>>57007716
maybe it has something to do with the stupid fast charging rates they push onto these things.

It's actually just Samsung being dogshit as usual

No, Samsung has stated that the issue is caused by a manufacturing error in the battery cell itself:
>Based on our investigation, we learned that there was an issue with the battery cell. An overheating of the battery cell occurred when the anode-to-cathode came into contact which is a very rare manufacturing process error.
