I'm looking to try a desktop unix OS in my old PC, the BIOS here is pretty annoying and don't recognize any of my USB drivers and I only have two CD-R with maximum 700MB capacity.

Is there any ISO with 700MB to fit on a CD-R?

Fuck that. Just use Plop Boot Manager and try out whatever distributions you want on your USB.

Plop allows you to boot from USB even if your PC's BIOS doesn't originally support it.
