8.1 was mildy shitty.
10 is absolute shit enforcing windows defender and a few other "Features" that have to be hard disabled via registry changes.
I mean cmon you'd think Microsoft would have learned by now that shoving things down peoples throats doesn't work.
Windblows 10 is the buggiest piece of shit OS I've had to use since Windows ME.
I actually really like how it looks and all the added customization options but:
- too many fucking services are required now
- telemetry and spying everywhere
- unfinished updates
- broken or improperly named services
- ink, taskbar, gadgets and desktop icons have memory leaks
- start menu is a slow piece of shit and tends to crash
- two fucking control panels with mirrored settings
- can't choose updates anymore

They don't need to learn anything. Corporations will continue buying Windows because that's what they've been using for years.
I don't like the direction it is all headed at all, mostly for privacy reasons but also because they are going to get more aggressive about advertising on the desktop.
I use Linux now and it's pretty great. I keep an unpatched Win 7 machine for gaming only, and I won't be buying any more PC only titles.
