Is the GT 730 good enough to replace my recently deceased 9800GT?
It's for the old backup computer with an E8400 so anything more expensive isn't really ideal.
Yeah? What do you plan on doing with it?

I just got an rx 480 coming from a 750ti
It is not good enough
>>56980220
I thought the rx 460 was the 750 ti's budget rival?
>>56980220
what's the actual gain from this? I'm planning on doing the same thing, got MSI GTX750 Ti, and plan on getting a Sapphire/MSI RX480
>>56980169
GT 730 is pretty comfy, go for it.
Integrated graphics are enough to replace the 9800.
>>56980169
Fuck no, unless you're getting it for free.
Get a used GPU since you obviously ain't upgrading shit.
A used 750, or used 7770 might be good options.
>>56980189
Probably play doom.
>>56980438
Something in the region of a 150% performance uplift in general and far more in situations where the 750 Ti's VRAM is tapped out.

>>56980788
I got like a 3x preformance gain
>>56980169
Intel integrated graphics would be more powerful than this piece of shit
Kys poorfag
Wait for the GTX 1050 Ti, Oct 18th
>>56980169
Don't do it, if you're low on money try getting a GTX 950 or an RX 460
>>56980838
950 is correct. To my knowledge it is one of the best you can get for the price.
>>56980585
Now how would use integrated graphics on a Core2Duo?
>>56980169
These are like 3 versions of 730 card - fermi-based and 2 newer kepler-based (ddr3 and gddr5) even ddr5 variant has lower memory bandwidth than 9800gt. Out has comparable speed, just don't expect it to be much faster.
