You can't do things like downsampling and use high resolution textures in some games that will need more VRAM than 3GB without affecting framerates.

But if you just use standard resolution textures you'll be okay.

You limited in the resolution of your textures and the amount of MSAA you can use.

If you can find a benchmark where 3GB "1060" that has 10% of its core disabled and full 6GB 1060 having the same results then that benchmark is botlenecking on something else than the graphics card

Yeah, maybe if you turn some settings down. Especially textures to cover that crippling lack of VRAM. There have been a ton of games released over the past few years that need more than 3GB, even at 1080p.

Why do poorfags always have to try and convince themselves that what they're getting is just as good as something more expensive? Why can't you just be honest with yourself and come to terms with the fact that your financial situation means you might have to make some compromises? Why the relentless delusion?

Uuuh graphics cards run in 36 bit color mode anyway so they can only use max 4 of those 6 gigabytes that's why the frames are so similar
