mean while, Apple said that the no phone jack was a success, so they view that the screen is non essential, in fact, it's even less essential than the phone jack, so iphone8 will no come with a screen. However, if users really want to use the screen, they will sell you an independent screen that you can plug into to the phone to use.

It probably would be better if they did just stop selling the Note 7, and stop producing it.

The problem is that there are going to be questions about the S8 now, and Note 8, especially if they are rushed out. Can they prevent a similar outbreak from occurring again? Especially if they haven't managed to prevent it on the new Note 7s?

Cellphone sales might not be such a big part of their business but there's no point staying in the market if confidence drops to the point where they aren't selling many devices anymore.

They need to get the S8 right.
