hey /g/, i need your assistance, i know this isn't /r/, but since is related to this board, maybe someone else can appreciate this info:
I recently buy a LG lcd, and i was very happy that i could finally wach my movies/series/anime/porn on a 40 inch screen, but to my surprise, apparently the tv only recognize subtitles when they have the exact same name as the video file...
the files i have on mp4 are no problem, just change the srt file name and you are done, but i also have a lot of content in mkv, which have the subs integrated on the file itself...
so, here is my question:
How can i edit mkv files, to change the subs filename, hoping that will solve the problem?

mkvnix

try handbrake, might have to rerender the clips through
>>56973985
encode it with "burned in" subs and make it 8bit. That or download bakedfish/deadfish torrents that have already had that done.

ok,TY all for answering...
i'm trying mkvnix, and i can edit the subs trck filename when i "merge" it...
but, is there any way that i can edit it without making a duplicate?
I'm guesing this is the way i have to go, but i can find a "save" button...

control+s

looking around i found this settings, but again, i can't find the way to save the changes...
