Does anyone have Intel G4400?
Read some good reviews and single thread performance looks impressive for the price.
Is it still possible to OC on a Z170 mobo?
Need some input for a budget build.
Z170 mobo will cost you more than G4400, better buy i3 for that money

Yeah, was more a hypithetical question about the OC possibilities
G3258 for OC
G3260 for 3.3ghz standard
G4400 is overpriced compared to the 3260

Well here in Sweden at least, the G4400 is exactly the same price as G3260

Buying older gen used i3 will be always better than getting whatever pentium G. Don't bother, it's trash.
t. someone who actually had pentium g at some point.
Why don't you just get an Athlon X4 950?

I want a modern chipset for possible future upgrades.

>G4400
>$64
That is pretty comfy for that price. My cpu costs over 5x that price and I just browse dank memes all day usually.. but I can say without a doubt when I start to do actual work this thing pays for itself every time.

No, its a fucking scam
go get the g3258 anniversary edition, its faster than i5

I think you can still BCLK OC. Either way, go for Z170 anyway and start saving for an i7 8700K.

>faster than i5 [citation needed]
