I got RX 480 with three fans and those fans aren't even spinning all the time because they don't need to. Even in game I sometimes see them stop, not to mention in normal desktop use. It's not in any kind of trouble. If the old cards had heat issues they probably fixed them already.

RX 470 8gb here.

Highest temp i ever saw is 59° playing battlefield 4 under DX11 or GTA V with the redux mode. Running BF4 under mantle or doing video render max i ever saw was 56°.

Got the Nitro X, downclocked the ram -60 mV and increased 2% the power limit.

I live in a pretty toasti area yesterday the temp was 38° all day and today is 23° because it rained hard. (Temps are celcius)

Athlon 5350 is the opposite of AMD hot though.
Mine runs idle at room temperature, maxes at 21c under 100% load on the stock cooler

I tossed my BeQuiet shadowrock LP on it just for the lols because my ECS mobo has 4 mounting holes instead of two, it maxed at 12c

I find it comfy to put the ceiling fan in reverse in the winter so it forces air down the walls instead of down he center of the room. This way you get the comfy ceiling heat but nothing blowing on you.

I got a question about the 5150 APU, i bought it to fuck around as a diy compact machine, the thing is it runs at a shitty 1.6ghz and when i overclock it to 2ghz (1950-1990ghz) my total ram capacity drops the fuck from 8gb to 4gb available.
