Is there a way to associate IP address settings with a specific network in Windows 7?
I turned off DHCP on my parent's router and assigned static IPs to all the computers in the house because my sister's faggot friends keep walking in with iPhones and causing the network to shit itself.
However, whenever anyone takes their laptop anywhere else, I have to talk them through turning off the static IP and DNS addresses and then redo it when they come home.
Is there any way to have it change automatically when they connect to the home network?

Yes but they either have to buy a mac or install gentoo.
Use Mac address whitelist in your router settings instead of being a fucking retard turning off dhcp.

instead of assigning the ip statically on each computer, turn dhcp back on on the router, and then just make the dhcp scope 0 so it can't g ive out any leases. Statically assign the computers ip address from the router. Then you don't have to change anything on the computers and they'll still be static when they're on your network.

Found your problem.

Smooth.
Imagine that, a apple-hating drag n' drool winbabby can't even configure dhcp on a router.

HAHAHHAHAHH... underage poorfaggot detected.
can't afford a less than 5 year old router, ha?
I feel dirty just by replying to your shit thread.

I've heard about this before but i have yet to see it
apparently there are some chink routers that don't get along well with applel wifi but it's quite rare
also, turn back on DHCP, limit your IP pool to about 30-40 IPs and assign DHCP rules for binding mac addresses to certain IPs (ie the ones that are in use right now for your devices)
in addition you can block your sisters iphone from connecting to the network via the same mac rules, except you click on deny
you may want to try investing or at least testing your network with another router, if the shitting up persists, it's more likely that there is a problem with your network setup rather than your sisters shitty shitty choice for a phone
