Runs smoothly on mostly stock android but the 5'' screen is still a bit big for my preference and the smooth bevels and waterproof coating make it difficult to hold onto.

Not really. Mine takes a while to charge, like 3.5 hours, but it charges fine.

Nexus 5 is the only smartphone I've owned.
Battery still lasts 4 hours on average.

I'd like to get a new phone for more power and longer lasting battery but I always come to the realization that a smartphone should be treated as such, a phone.

Standby time is magnificent so there's no need to upgrade. That and there are no good phones out on the market right now
