I remember when S3 was releasing their S27, I wanted one. I knew it wouldn't keep up with its ATI and nVidia equivalents but wanted to support them.

It was pci-e only and I was, sadly, still on an AGP system at the time. I felt bad about that. From what I understand from reviews, it sort of held its own (it wasn't absolutely trashed by them). If only more people bought it and supported it, things could have been different.
