I'm looking for a controller to play emulated games on my Galaxy S7. I've largely been using PPSSPP and Drastic, it needs to have a clip for the phone. Does /g/ have any recommendations for one that feels comfortable and gets the job done? I wanted the Mad Catz C.T.R.L. but not sure if others have had good experiences with it.

Moga or GameSir are both recommended around the internet. I recently bought a GameSir something.

It feels about how you'd expect a $30 controller to feel (about 80% like the actual first party controller (I've never owned an actual Xbox or Playstation controller in years, only third party controllers)). Can confirm it worked on my Android and Windows 10 PC (only tested wirelessly).
