Not a fan of the grey-blue colour even when they're used in the default android menus.

#FFF doesn't fit the blue colour, I know a lot of people use pure white or black because that's the colour the icons come in but you can set up a batch photoshop process to change them pretty easily.

Composition is only okay, almost there, looks like you spaced things mathematically and not visually.

Notification bar with cellular and WiFi status, clock, bluetooth (hidden), location, and battery status.
WiFi and bluetooth are white if connected, red if enabled but not connected, and invisible if disabled.
Location is white if enabled and invisible if disabled.
Battery is white if using power from battery, green if using power from USB, and teal if fast charging via AC or wireless.

Most used applications are below with a limit of two rows. Background is black because of Super AMOLED display and I like the look.

Swiping up opens application drawer.

Swiping left shows weather, music, and steps taking that day. I'll end up redesigning this section because I want more unity, but I'm happy with it for now.

Nova Launcher with TeslaUnread for unread count badge. KLWP with KWGT for steps taken from Google Fit. AccuWeather Platinum and Google Play Music in case it's not obvious.

Theres not much you can do with that setup, its simplicity kinda limits you. Honestly I'd choose a different pape and go from there. But, if you really want that one, I'd keep the icon pack and maybe make a simple clock widget with zooper. I don't know much about custom music players tho, I just use KLWP. Overall not a terrible setup tho, 5/10

I actually think I've balance both form and function, as I am able to reach every app I ever use in under 2 actions, and have my music player ingrained into my home screen (as I am almost constantly listening to music). The only lag I have is in the color and album art switch, which is minor, and doesn't effect the function in any way. I just think you made the mistake of buying a windows phone and are now butthurt that you have to use an experience that has been tailored for you instead of creating your own.
