Are these websites good source of tech info?
What do you use?
Got some recommendations or some good authors/journalists?

Arsetechnica and Dailydot are pleb/reddit tier garbage.
EFF isn't really a news site and I don't know Linuxjournal.
It depends on what interests you. "Tech" can mean a lot of stuff.
Slashdot, even if it somewhat went to shit in the last years, covers a lot of the generic tech news that make it into the mainstream.
Infoworld does too, I believe, but I only follow a subsection there.
And then you have all kinds of specialized sites/blogs/subreddits.

I get all my tech news from the teksyndicate
>>56677839
I'm mostly interested in internet/privacy/hacking/software/piracy informations and news. I believe these are more crucial and important things nowadays than say hardware and prosthetic legs.
I am more interested in what big companies are doing to people, death of privacy and how to fight them.
Got any suggestions?

So, which ones do you recommend then?

Slashdot
/r/netsec
TorrentFreak
HackerNews Daily (for the RSS feed)
Probably something from Infoworld too (http://www.infoworld.com/blogs).

Anything remotely important will wind up in /g/ instantly
so don't fret

why waste time digging through shitpost and cancer spam threads so you can read something new and good?
>>56677865
They were a good source of content. I'm just waiting for Wendell and Quain to start their own show now that they split up. Logan wasn't much more than an entertainer, and now there's no reason to watch it over any other tech channel.

why do I feel that youtubers only talk about battlestations and stupid overrated expensive ricing bullshit hardware like razer
>>56678018
Because they're marketing people having fun with tech. Nothing wrong with that, but nothing I or (I assume) most people here are interested in.
That's why Techsyndicate was different. Was.

>hackernews
ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
>>56678425
Yeah, I kinda regret posting it. It used to be better, it didn't have as many reddit/sjw people.
Still worth a visit if you're bored.
