/g/ What's the best cheap ultrawide monitor? Size doesn't matter but I would prefer it to be 3440x1440. Looking to upgrade from 2k and actually give the GTX 1080 I have a bit of a workout.
21:9 + 3440x1440 its not going to be cheap your looking at least 600+ more then likely
could also get a 2560x1080 and use dsr to get 1440

That could work, I'm just worried that it would be a step down from the 2k monitor I'm currently using. Do you have any recommendations for relatively same 2560x1080 monitors? I'd prefer something a little more pixel dense.
Also, I'm very knowledgeable on FFF/FDM 3D printing and would be happy to answer any questions you may have in exchange for the help.

Heh, if you only knew have a print running on my makerfarm and kit taz right now
but check out the lg 25um57 its what I'm using right now, also check out the ultrasharps thou they will be quite a bit more then others and the AOC q29
a 1080 ultrawide is fucking useless
wait for black friday and pick up either an lg or dell 1440 curved for ~$500-600

No DVI on the lg 25um57 unfortunately, but thank you.
Very nice, I love my makergear m2 dual, got it back when they still sold kits. Also if you don't have one alreaday I highly recommend adding a PEI sheet on your build plate for adhesion, it's excellent. A little to excellent to ninjaflex actually (you need to use glue stick or it will fuse to the bed).

Yeah have a sheet on the way, I need to track down a sheet of garolite / something for printing nylons, using glue works alright for small pieces but on some of the larger parts I want to print in nylon it warps like a bitch

and yeah that might be a good plan, I'm waiting till black friday/ cyber monday to try and get myself a 29 or 34 inch panel
Wasabi Mango 340UC
seriously not a bad monitor

>2560 x 1080
>cheap, $250 new
I'll probably buy one used in the near future. Looking for $150 shipped

>dsr
Don't know if DSR actually works for ultrawide resolutions, but fucking VSR doesn't support it
>>56666552
Kinda useless for anything besides productivity or games.. but that leaves only movies and TV lacking

Pretty small. The vertical on that is tiny
