Anyone knows if this motherboard, the gigabyte GA-970A D3SP rev 2.0 supports SLI?
Site says it supports Crossfire but nothing about SLI
I googled and some people say it does and some people say it doesn't
Anyone here knows?

Since it's not SLI certified the drivers would most likely won't allow you to enable it by default. You can try HyperSLI if you feeling adventurous but I wouldn't bother

It does.

I have that and I thought I found out that it does not?

I'm sure it does support SLI (why else would it have two x16 slots) but if you're looking for high end stuff, you may wish to consider something else. AM3+ is an old platform.

It has one. The bottom one is not full speed and is not considered x16. I looked at the back of the box and it says "1*PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot"
I bought a GA-Z87-D3HP which had no mentions of SLI on the box or the specs page and there was no SLI options available when I had my 2 970's in there, so yeah, it's on the box.
If the manufacturer says it supports crossfire and has no mention on SLI, it doesn't support SLI. Just made the mistake with my motherboard lol, don't make the same one
