They also never tell you the real contrast. Only 'dynamic contrast'.
Contrast is the difference between displaying a full white and a full black picture. Dynamic contrast means that when displaying full black (and only then), the screen will turn off, giving you a much deeper black. So it's possible that it has a dynamic contrast of 1 billion but that doesn't tell you shit about the quality.
