Are they just rebrands of older cards, cut down Polaris 11 cards or something entirely new?
The only thing AMD cards are good for is starting fires.
Don't get an amd card anon you will regret it. The price is cheap for a reason and that is performance and build quality. I bought a 7950 when it just came out and immediately after I'd get bsods at random caused by my gpu. After a few months one of the fans stopped working and I couldn't find a fix. It was loud and the performance was OK for a while but became obsolete pretty quick. After a year it simply died and I was stuck using an apu for a few months until I saved up for new parts. I'm now running a 970gtx and 6600k and I can say the price reflects on the quality and performance. The drivers are also so much more easier to install and overall more user friendly.
Amd not even once.

They are all at the least GCN 1.1 (Hawaii derivative) parts because of not needing a crossfire bridge, though frankly I'd be quite surprised to see anything less than Tonga cut downs with only the cheapest of the cheap shit being older.
they'll have APU levels of performance

I need a decent GPU for my HTPC with hardware 4K h265 decoding and HDMI 2.0 for as cheap as possible, so I'd like to know this too. The 460 is too expensive.

>instead of rma'ing my card I just waited till it died, fuck AMD!!!

Going by what the 460 was like, they're going to be shit.

Is AMD going to release any high end cards this year? RX 490 when?
