What is a good Linux to try for a beginner? Something that can use NTFS file system as that's where my porn and reaction images are saved.

Linux Lite
>NTFS file system
Bad idea. Ever thought of a windows that runs on ext4? I know OSX can

Linux will be on its own partition but I need it to access the NTFS partition. I don't want to have to reboot just to fap.

Linux can access NTFS no problem
>>56654321
just use ntfs3g
most desktop distros have it available by default
the performance isn't as good as native filesystems, but it does the job, and perfectly safe to use
All distros support NTFS
Debian.
Gentoo is a very user-friendly distro. Just follow the manual. Yes - it's that easy! :^)

Don't use NTFS with Linux if you want speed. Accessing porn images and videos should be fine.

Find someone who's already using Linux and can help you with your first steps and install the same distro as that person is using
If you have no one to help you, install Ubuntu since it has the largest userbase so your chances of getting help will be maximised
All Linux distros support NTFS today

It recommends Ubuntu and Slackware. Is this a legit website?

Xubuntu probably. Ubuntu MATE is also good. I hesitantly recommend Mint, but it's an option.
Maybe even Kubuntu if you have a good computer.

This is news to me, I never knew ntfs was slow.
Yet again, it makes sense because whenever I go to access my ntfs partition it takes a few minutes to load everything out. I figured it was just an fstab thing I hadn't fixed.
Oh well, I like my external to be compatible with all my PC's

most distros can access NTFS partitions without any trouble. Just get xubuntu to start then move on to fedora or mint.
>>56654224
Try with mint or ubuntu (LTS). Regarding the NTFS both includes by default the necessary packages to access to you NTFS partitions (even from the live media). The only problem you may have is that the windows "fast boot" is some kind of hybrid hibernation so if the drive is hibernated (which is done by default on W8-10 when you shut down the computer) you'll not be able to access to that drive/s unless you mount them manually as read-only (Yes, even if for some reason windows shits itself and doesn't start you can get your files back from ubuntu mounting the partitions as RO, this has happened to some friends).

Installed ubuntu mate today seems fine, no problem accessing my porn or other files on windows partition, also using the same firefox profile for both. Just office (M$) missing, I'll deal with this later

It depends on how you answered the questions. Slackware really isn't that difficult, it just seems scary because it has a smaller repo than other mainstream distros and lacks automatic dependency resolution. Once you get your feet wet, it's pretty easy.
