JavaScript is actually a better language than C if you really think about it, mostly because of the simplicity of the code. You basically can't screw up as long as you use common sense, and it performs good enough so that people can't really even tell the difference on a modern laptop.

Have you every seriously learnt a stronger typed language? A lot easier for non trivial programs.
JavaScript is atrocious. Tooling is utter crap, the standards are a sucking mess, it's a endless maze of bugs.
JavaScript isn't simple either, a massively convoluted language.
Besides there isn't any overlap between the sane use of the two languages.
C has it's domain and that's the low level.
JavaScript belongs in the browser.
