>sitting in the Computer lab
>stupid CS TA's ranting about C/C++
>complaining that it's too hard to understand and that Java is a better language
You can't make this shit up .
WOOOOOOOAH AREN'T YOUUU A HOTSHOT
Get over yourself.
>>56631347
>You can't make this shit up .
And yet you just did.
>>56631429
I wish I was. Maybe I should transfer schools.
I don't even get this "Java is easy meme".
The syntax is so shit. A hello world in Java is literally twice as long as a hello world in C++.
>>56631347
Stupid. Different tools for different jobs. Like complaining about hammers and nails to build shit when you could use Lego instead.
>>56631465
Go ahead and do it you autist
>>56631499
This.
>>56631499
>A hello world in Java is literally twice as long as a hello world in C++.
If you think that's a good metric for complexity you're retarded
>>56631347
I would understand if they were talking about pointer wizardry with C because that can be difficult to get your head around, but the language itself isn't hard at all.
>>56632149
This.
Still don't know why people don't just learn binary. Fucking idiots.....
>>56631347
Nowadays everyone has their own computer, usually a laptop or a tablet with a usb keyboard. So, are there really computer labs anymore?
If you can't perceive pointers and recursion you have no place in the programming business.
Clean my loo, pajeet.
>>56633826
For CS labs, yes. There are also computer labs all around the school. Your school doesn't have any?
Java is a better language, though. C++ should *only* be used when there's no alternative, like assembly, and even in those cases C should be used instead.
>>56633683
>not using physical switches for inputting instructions directly to the cpu, one 32/64bit string at a time
Fucking pleb.
>>56631347
I fucking weep for the future software development and computing in general when I see the quality of the "graduates" out there it might be a good thing if the chinks warp speed their efforts and farm programming jobs to robots since the retards being farted out of colleges and universities aren't up to the job.
>>56631347
Indeed. C/C++ are inferior because despite having harder syntax they lack the portability and power of Java. For example, try making a program that runs several flows of instructions simultaneously on C/C++; you can't. In Java it's really easy. Such a basic feature that was introduced in Ada, and the allegedly big languages don't have it? Don't make me laugh, those languages are obsolete.
