Only stuff ive found shows you how to do it when it isnt preinstalled and you are using windows 7, xp or 8 and it only briefly states that if you want to remove the preinstalled version you would have to activate your account first or something.

tried this first but it wouldnt let me delete it like that. I had to download a removal tool from their support page that seems to have workd on the preinstalled version even though stated that it possibly wouldnt.
